{[MUST DO Trends for Spring]}

With new trends popping up each season how do you know which ones are for you?

BOLD STRIPES
Stripes aren’t just for the nautically enthused. Take a lesson from Coco Chanel and turn stripes into a chic and modern wardrobe classic. REMINDER: Horizontal stripes can be very flattering. The trick is choosing a garment with great shape.
FLATS
These shoes are made for walking—Hooray! This season flats and low heels are making a comeback.   Punch up your spring style with a flat shoe in a bold hue. Look for a brand like Cole Haan for comfort and style.
PEPLUM TOPS
This 19th Century fashion has made it’s way back onto   the style scene. It’s a chic way to add a modern touch  to a professional look. Pair a peplum top with your favorite pencil skirt. Best of all it’s a great way to accentuate a waist and hide a tummy.
 GLOBE TROTTER
Ethnic prints and inspirations make up this seasons Globe Trotter trend. Swap out your traditional blazer for a funky patterned version.

Shopping online is not only convenient, but also great for your wallet!

There are many sites offering quick purchasing incentives by holding one to three day long discounted sales on specific brands.  Since the sales are sometimes up to 50% off, most items sell-out quickly. In order to stay on top of sales with the designers you love, I recommend downloading the APP for these sites on your smart-phone. This way, when the sale begins (most launch at noon) you can be ready to buy!
Today’s web finds were picked from hautelook.com, ruelala.com and gilt.com- a few of my favorites.

Be sure to look out for more ‘Web Finds’ weekly right here and on Facebook!

There’s an art to traveling in style and it starts with your carry on bag. Use these tips the next time youlook for the perfect bag.
Choose a bag that is well constructed so it can handle the weight of the items you plan to put in it. Nothing is worse than having a bag malfunction because you put too much weight in a bag that wasn’t built to withstand it. I speak from experience on this one. A year ago I had a handle break on my carry on bag. Not fun!
The most important part of the bag is the handle. Too thin and it will dig intoyourshoulder leaving you wishing you left it at home. Look for a bag with a thick strap that feels comfortable and sturdy. The best situation is a bag with both a shoulder strapandhandles.
Know the measurements of your must-have carry on items. For instance if you always travel with your laptop be sure to measure your laptop and the width of your potential bag before purchasing it.
Choose a color that goes with everything. Space is valuable on a trip so most of the time your carry on bag can double as your day bag once you’ve reached your destination. I love a tan bag or even a great colored bag in a color like purple, red, or yellow.

Whether you plan to join in the celebrations this

-St. Patrick’s Day-

with friends, family, or alone-

your luck will

improve with a festive wardrobe and accessories

(and you will look great, too)!

Last week during a closet edit I made over 40 “NEW” outfits using what was already in someone’s closet. Every closet I go in has more potential than it’s owner can see.
The trick to shaking things up in your closet is playing dress up. Walk into your closet and force yourself to find an outfit you’ve never worn before. An easy way to do this is to pretend like you’re putting an outfit together for someone else. It takes the “I could never wear that” feeling out of the equation.
Dress up is a powerful exercise. (And a common occurrence in my house.) You played dress up completely uninhibited as a kid and wore only what you liked and what made you feel fun. Here’s the secret…It’s the same thing as an adult. Read on to learn the formula for putting together the perfect outfit.
Dress up! Have fun! And here’s to your style!

If you have a narrow calf it can be hard to find boots

that don’t feel huge around your calf.

Follow some simple rules when shopping, and you can avoid the head-ache, and any future dis-content with your boots!

Shopping Tips:

– Start by measuring the circumference of your calf and then search for boots with a similar calf circumference.

-Don’t forget to read reviews.

-Feedback from others can also help you decipher the fit of a potential purchase.

Just found out you are expecting,

or a few-months in and looking to spice up your maternity wardrobe?

A couple years ago when I was pregnant with my daughter I remember wondering if designers who make maternity clothes think women quit their jobs immediately upon hearing they are pregnant in order to sit at home in casual frocks eating bon-bons.

Seriously people! ……Being pregnant doesn’t mean you don’t want to look chic and professional.

Here are some closet additions to keep your pregnancy wardrobe versatile, professional, and fun!

Have you tried the thickening mascara from Trish McEvoy?
Throw your fake lashes away because this mascara rocks.
The Plus Side:
  • Gives you amazing long lashes.
  • Doesn’t clump or smudge.
  • Adds drama to your eyes.
The Down Side:
  • Drys up quick. This mascara seems to last about half the life cycle of others I’ve tried. I think the thick brush wastes more than gets applied. However, it’s totally worth it.
I highly recommend you try this fabulous mascara, and I hope you will  love it too! -Lee

The days are getting longer, which means one thing…Summer is right around the corner!

Adding stripes to your Spring closet is a fabulous way to incorporate the ‘nautical’ feel, without pulling out the white pants just yet!

Worried about how they might look on you?

Leave behind the age-old myth that you simply cannot pull off the stripes without looking like they have added extra attention to your size. It is not true, if styled properly. Check out the samples I have pulled together below to show you samples of how to wear head-to-toe stripes.

Do not forget that if you have concerns about making stripes work into your  Spring wardrobe we can go shopping for your perfectly styled stripes together. These looks can be worn now through Fall, so take the time to piece them together and you will be stylish all Spring and throughout the Summer!

The Key to Your Powerful Brand Image

More often than not, each piece of your brand image was created when you needed it, but not altogether in a strategic fashion. Your image may look fine, but does fine help you grow?

Eventually as you scale, your image foundation cracks, and the way your business presents itself no longer helps propel growth – costing you time and money to fix.

When you unlock your brand power, you get to pick and choose how people perceive you and your brand.

Our Image Mastery System™ takes the 5 key brand components that you already have and ties them together in a way that amplifies your results and achieves your vision.

I feel like a whole new person. I’ve been unchained from the old self. I’ve been freed to laugh and dream and smile. And I’ve become more accessible to my clients, which is the whole point.

Donna Terrell, Criminal Defense Attorney

It is hard to explain why Lee is so brilliant at what she does because it is almost like magic. She pierces through your personality and reflects who you are in what you wear. She does not just pick out great clothes – she picks an outwardly appearance that creates a comfort zone while also allowing the world to see the real you.

Nate Casey, Entrepreneur

Working with Lee has dramatically increased my revenue, not because of what I’m wearing but because of how I show up when I am dressed like my future self.

Angela Lauria, The Difference Press

When I reflect on who I was before working with Lee, I see that everything about me was a muted version of who I am today. And thanks to Lee’s incredible gift, I’m me. I now show up every single day: as the thought-leader Lee helped me dress to become (and be).

Hillary Walsh, Esq., New Frontier Immigration Law

Thank YOU! It was such a fantastic mini-class you took us through. You got everyone really into it! I can hardly believe that I actually had to cut them all off. You are a force! We are very lucky to have had the benefit of your help and we’re all better for it.

Megan Graves, Client Happiness & Team Happiness Coordinator, Upleveling Your Business

You are amazing!!!!!! I’ve been thinking about our conversation all day and this is just brilliant – you are a strategist and creative genius. Your vision completely resonates with me. I am so grateful for you, Lee.

Kelly McGrath, Esq., Kelly McGrath Law

Lee had a surprising way about her that uncovered my deeper self, my reason for being, and encoded it onto my wardrobe like a symbol—a moment-by-moment reminder of who I am, and what I’m here to do. Her brilliance crept up on me; I didn’t realize it was her behind the changes in my life until months afterwards. Now, I am able to approach everything I do from a place of power.

Jonathan Sparks, Esq. Sparks Law

Lee brings to life a vision bigger than I imagined. I’ve had the pleasure of working with her on my personal brand, photo shoot strategy, and the brand experience of events for my non-profit. Through each piece she’s helped me grow as a leader and an organization. I love having her on my team.
