Are you wearing a bandeau?

The bandeau is a versatile wardrobe’s best friend. It is one of my favorite tricks to ensuring you feel confident in your clothes. Nothing is more uncomfortable than constantly having to double check that your girls are in check or that your bra is showing.
Use a bandeau to make a low cut shirt or dress more appropriate for the office or a casual day look. The bandeau is also a great way to add a pop of color to any outfit.  For example, jazz up your favorite black wrap dress with a hint of color from this berry  bandeau.
Bandeaus can be found at Mary Mojo Boutique in their West Ashley or Mount Pleasant location.

Are you ready for wedding season?

Did you know that figuring out what to wear to a wedding doesn’t have to be a pain?
Yes, really. Stop stressing over what is or isn’t appropriate and let me show you what to wear to a wedding.
Join me on Wednesday, May 25th, at 6:30 pm for the Fashion Feminar: What to Wear to a Wedding.
This Feminar will take place at Mary Mojo Boutique and costs $20 to attend. Proceeds from this event will benefit Warriors Wear Pink, an organization that lends both financial and mental assistance to families fighting breast cancer.
During this fun evening I’ll show you how to know what to wear, what accessories pull together the perfect outfit, and easy ways to have fun with your wedding style. In addition, Moore Make Up will demonstrate how to finish your wedding look with flawless make up.

I get asked a lot about how to create age appropriate style. It is a common style concern among many of my clients, no matter what their age. I get so many questions about this that I recently held a Stylish Inner Circle class and a live seminar at Mary Mojo Boutique on the topic.
captureDuring the seminar I put together different outfits and asked participants how old they thought each mannequin would be based on their wardrobe. It was astounding to hear the age ranges they provided.  Everyone had a completely different idea of how old the mannequin was, with varying ideas on why she was that particular age.
In this picture, the mannequin in the dress and cardigan was given an age that ranged from 28-60. It shows you that what is considered age appropriate is relative to your perspective.
So, how does that help you get dressed feeling confident and age appropriate each morning? When you are worried about dressing in an age appropriate way, consider thinking about relevance.
Instead of asking yourself “Do I feel age appropriate?” Ask yourself “Do I feel relevant?”
This means you take into consideration the way people you find stylish are dressed, and what you want to look like as the woman you are today.
To Create Relevant Style:

  1. Use your style to help tell the rest of the world who you are and what you have to say—as the woman you are right now.
  2. Be willing to frequently reassess the clothing that you wear. Recognize that style, like you, constantly evolves.
  3. Remember that there are many different ways to wear something. Don’t typecast a piece of clothing as too young or too old until you try it on and experiment with how it can work for your current style.

I recently bought this Karina dress at one of my favorite stores, Mary Mojo Boutique. It is kind of wild for me, but the fit is perfect and I loved the idea of trying something bold and different. Prints get a bad rap for being too memorable making them hard to wear over and over again. On the contrary, prints offer a chic and sophisticated look and can definitely be styled different ways. Check out the ways I’ve worn this fun dress.

The Key to Your Powerful Brand Image

More often than not, each piece of your brand image was created when you needed it, but not altogether in a strategic fashion. Your image may look fine, but does fine help you grow?

Eventually as you scale, your image foundation cracks, and the way your business presents itself no longer helps propel growth – costing you time and money to fix.

When you unlock your brand power, you get to pick and choose how people perceive you and your brand.

Our Image Mastery System™ takes the 5 key brand components that you already have and ties them together in a way that amplifies your results and achieves your vision.

How much additional revenue can
you generate when you up level your image?

I feel like a whole new person. I’ve been unchained from the old self. I’ve been freed to laugh and dream and smile. And I’ve become more accessible to my clients, which is the whole point.

Donna Terrell, Criminal Defense Attorney

It is hard to explain why Lee is so brilliant at what she does because it is almost like magic. She pierces through your personality and reflects who you are in what you wear. She does not just pick out great clothes – she picks an outwardly appearance that creates a comfort zone while also allowing the world to see the real you.

Nate Casey, Entrepreneur

Working with Lee has dramatically increased my revenue, not because of what I’m wearing but because of how I show up when I am dressed like my future self.

Angela Lauria, The Difference Press

When I reflect on who I was before working with Lee, I see that everything about me was a muted version of who I am today. And thanks to Lee’s incredible gift, I’m me. I now show up every single day: as the thought-leader Lee helped me dress to become (and be).

Hillary Walsh, Esq., New Frontier Immigration Law

Thank YOU! It was such a fantastic mini-class you took us through. You got everyone really into it! I can hardly believe that I actually had to cut them all off. You are a force! We are very lucky to have had the benefit of your help and we’re all better for it.

Megan Graves, Client Happiness & Team Happiness Coordinator, Upleveling Your Business

You are amazing!!!!!! I’ve been thinking about our conversation all day and this is just brilliant – you are a strategist and creative genius. Your vision completely resonates with me. I am so grateful for you, Lee.

Kelly McGrath, Esq., Kelly McGrath Law

Lee had a surprising way about her that uncovered my deeper self, my reason for being, and encoded it onto my wardrobe like a symbol—a moment-by-moment reminder of who I am, and what I’m here to do. Her brilliance crept up on me; I didn’t realize it was her behind the changes in my life until months afterwards. Now, I am able to approach everything I do from a place of power.

Jonathan Sparks, Esq. Sparks Law

Lee brings to life a vision bigger than I imagined. I’ve had the pleasure of working with her on my personal brand, photo shoot strategy, and the brand experience of events for my non-profit. Through each piece she’s helped me grow as a leader and an organization. I love having her on my team.
